Peacock

This card was made with the Kanban stamp 'Peacock', distress ink pads; tumbled glass, broken china, dusty concord and shabby shutters. Cosmic Shimmer mica powders; circus brights and shimmering luxury. XL oval nesties and labels 10 from Spellbinders.
First I stamped the peacock onto white cardstock and traced round it with labels ten tacked down over it, with the tail coming out of the die. Cut round the tail cutting in about a centimetre inside the traced line. Then when I was lining it up to cut with the die I lifted the tail ontop of my die so as to miss the cutting edge.
I made my background card with white card and blended tumbled glass, broken china, dusty concord and shabby shutters distress inks together then stamped a birdcage and floral vine using the tumbled glaas. I dusted over with mica powders, spritzed and heat set.
Cut out scalloped oval from the background using XL scalloped oval from spellbinder (to layer up and give added demension). And punched a border down the right side with EK success deep edge bubbles punch.
Matted and layered it all together ontop of a pale blue mirri card, and where the bubbles are, placed some transparent sticky gems. A little bit of u.f glitter and hey presto!
